WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SHOOT?

Your newborn is best photographed between 4 and 12 days of age so booking in with me while you are still pregnant is recommended. I will book you in 7 days from your due date and once your baby arrives we can move your shoot accordingly so your baby is around 10 days of age when you come in for your shoot.

If your baby has already arrived then please contact me asap, every day counts.

I can still capture the “newborn” look up to the age of 4 weeks, but after 12 days of age your baby will start to change, be more alert, some poses will then be too uncomfortable for your baby and they will not stay asleep and curled up like a 4 to 12 day old will. Please don’t hesitate to book in if your baby is already older then 12 days of age but just remember your baby is growing fast and you will need to contact me as soon as possible.

The session usually takes about 3 hours and results in approximately 20 to 50 professional images for you to choose from. The 3 hours allows ample time for the feeding and settling of your baby, allowing me to take those stunning sleeping images. All newborn sessions are photographed in my fully equipped studio with my assortment of wraps, props and backdrops. Once you have booked in with me I will send you a confirmation email about a week before your shoot.

I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your newborn shoot. This deposit can be moved to a different date or session.
